Introduction to PhoPepMass

PhoPepMass is designed to store and display human phosphorylated peptides which were cleaved after 'K' or 'R' by trypsin. Proteins with phosphorylation sites and corresponding annotations can be queried through the web-interface using Protein IDs from Ensembl, IPI, RefSeq, and UniProt/SwissProt or by entering gene names and Entrez gene IDs. Fasta files with phosphorylation information are available to download.
Additionally, a database search software is also created to identify phosphorylated peptides from tandem mass spectra file in the “pkl” format.
